Environmental Labeling Dalum Papir has been awarded the environmental labels: Blue Angel and the Flower.
Approval of the company's products for the Blue Angel environmental label places significant demands on a supplier's emissions and hazardous substance contents.
Substances containing the following are not permitted:
- Alkyl phenol ethoxylates
- Highly degradeable detergants
- Antifoam agents containing highly degradable substances
- Chlorine for bleaching
- EDTA/DTPA
- Biocides with the potential to bioaccumulate
- Azo colourings
- Glyoxal
- Formaldehyde
- Optical bleach in Cyclus products
- Acrylamide contents in substances are to be limited
The environmental labels also include requirements for the proportion of recycled cellulose in paper and to a certain extent requirements relating to fibre from sustainable forestry. |
